With still life photography, you have all the time in the world to set the mood you want to capture, very much unlike sports or wildlife photography, in which it’s essential to watch and wait for that perfect moment so when it comes, you’re ready.
Patience is a Virtue
Patience is truly a virtue when it comes to photography. Still life shots can take a long time to set up and perfect. It was actually really relaxing having so much control over every element.
Capturing the Right Feel
There were a lot of flops and fumbles attempting to capture what I had in mind for these photo, but that’s just part of learning. I had to learn to use additional tools to continue enhancing these photos to achieve the right look and feel.
