A Day on the Trail
Energy required
A lot of time and energy goes into setting up each shot any time you want to capture a scene. I found I was quite tired about halfway through this walk having to stop, set up my gear, snap my shots, wait for the sun, snap a few more, and then pack everything back on to move to the next spot. It was a lot, but I had so much fun.
Patience is a Virtue
Patience is truly a virtue when it comes to photography. While the trees, trails and grass tend to stay fairly still when shooting in nature, the weather has a mind of its own, and on this particular day, I had to adjust my exposure to ensure I was letting enough light in to capture these images.
The Role of Eyesight
There was a lot of trial and error, and plenty of taking 15 to 20 snaps of the same scene to ensure my settings were right and the photo turned out well, and even after getting home, I saw that the zoom was off on several of my images that, at the time, looked fine on the camera screen.
